Loading ...The 11th Annual Sgt. Pats 5K Run was held in April 2009 and sponsored by J. F. Kiely Construction Co. The event is held annually in the honor of Sergent Patrick King and is presented by PBA Local #10 and Jersey Shore Running Club. The proceeds from the event are used for scholarships and research for treatment of mental illness.
The Sgt. Pats 5K Run acts as a unique opportunity for the whole community to get together and J. F. Kiely Construction Co. helped in the organizers in a great way by sponsoring the race and providing their full support to the effort. The Sgt. Pats 5K is a family event that also organizes several kids races of varying distances along with a two-mile family walk.
